Popular Haworth Show is Set for Return

The Haworth & District Gardeners' Show committee is planning to stage its vegetable, flower and produce event again this year. The show hasn't been held for two years due to the pandemic.

A meeting is taking place at the Parkside Social Club in Butt Lane, Haworth, on Thursday, March 24, at 7.30pm, to discuss the plans.

“I was for a while troubled with a haunting fear that if I handled the flower freely its bloom would fade – the sweet charm of freshness would leave it. I did not then know that it was no transitory blossom, but rather the radiant resemblance of one, cut in an indestructible gem,” said a committee spokesperson.

This year's show is earmarked for Sunday, August 28.
